본 연구의 목적은 한국 아동의 생존권 보장 수준을 포괄적으로 점검하는 것이다. 이를 위해 한국아동권리학회 및 한국보건사회연구원이 개발한 지표와 다양한 통계 정보 및 각종 조사 자료가 활용되었다. 분석결과, 우리나라 아동의 절대적 빈곤의 수준과 가족해체의 수준이 높게 나타났으며, 주거환경을 비롯한 전반적인 안전도는 낮은 수준이었다. 또한 건강 및 의료 부문 역시, 보장의 수준이 낮고, 위험에 노출되어 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 미흡한 아동생존권 보장 수준을 높이기 위한 사회적 관심과 지원이 확대되어야 함을 보여준다.
This research analyzed child\'s right to live level. For this, this research used child right index was made by The Korean Council for Children\'s Rights & Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs and various statistical and survey data. As a result, Security level of Korea child\'s right to live was low. Concretely, the child poverty rate of our country is high, and level of neighborhood environment is low. Also, social security level of medical treatment is low. This result shows that social interest and support which raise right to live security should be magnified.
