This research investigated theses whose subjects are variables related to elementary physical education and sports psychology among the theses which were published from 2000 to Jun. 2014 in 9 KIC registrated journals related to physical education and grasped studying tendency. By referring to objective theses of research, studies of Hastie et al. (2011), the first investigation was conducted by focusing on title, writer, year of publishment, purposes of research, subject of research, key words, research method and main results. In the second investigation, studying tendency was analyzed by present condition of publishment, characteristics of research, studying method and studying subject. In elementary physical education by the tendency analysis of this research, developmental direction of studies related to sports psychology is as follows. First, it's necessary to conduct studies for the whole graders or studies dividing into high graders and low graders. Second, diversity and combination of research methods are required. Third, the development of significant questionnaires will improve the quality of study on sports psychology. Fourth, it's necessary to apply and expand the area of positive psychology in elementary physical education. Fifth, it's necessary to combine class of elementary physical education with psychological skill training and expand studies on psychological skill training for elementary student players.
